Nubar Bouquet Collection

Good morning, Dear Reader!

Today I get to announce the winner of the Music Hall Minis giveaway, and it was Cindy (who's been notified via email, in case there were multiple Cindy's). Congrats to Cindy!

I also have a great collection to show you for BCA month. It's from Nubar, who makes only carcinogenic free nail products (free of formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP). The good news about Nubar is that they've been at making Big 3 Free products for a while, and they have the formula down pat. The go on beautifully, are opaque in two coats, and dry quickly. They also play nice with other products - no special base coat or top coat required. Nubar's site, where you can buy these and many other colors and a good price, is www.bynubar.com. On the main page, you'll see their cancer awareness products, as well as this collection.

So enough yapping, let's look at pictures! Here is the Bouquet Collection from Nubar.

La Perla Frost is a frosty pink rose that's a very delicate pink.

Camelot Blossom is a vivid slightly coral rose creme, which was easily opaque and even in two coats.

Valentine Pink is a bright pink with a pink flash, and is one hot color.

Geisha Blaze is another hot pink, this time with a bit of a blue flash.

Cupcake Magenta is a deep hot pink creme, also opaque and even in two coats.

Tea Rose Petal is a classic rose pink, but with a fuchsia flash.

Sheer Bliss is a sheer pink with a cool blue flash to it.

Apricot Silk is a shimmery apricot shade of pink with lots of shimmer and no streaks.

So there you have the collection I used for my Pink Week tribute to BCA month! The collection itself is not Nubar's BCA product, but fit in well for this week so I used it. Their cancer research product is here, and the Bouquet Collection is here.

After all that swatching, I has to do a mani, so I chose Cupcake Magenta and added a tip pattern in violet from Konad plate M45, then added a little decoration in blue from plate M56.

That's all for today, Dear Reader. Love and nail polish to you!
