Today I have the two FingerPaints limited edition glitters, which Sally Beauty Supply is touting as comparable to OPI's Mad As A Hatter and Absolutely Alice on their site. They're not, but they're good in their own right. The pictures of them are complete, dry manicures in sunlight.
Sapphire Shimmer is blue and holo glitter in a clear base, but the glitter is smaller and more sparse than Absolutely Alice, making the polish sheer. I layered two coats of it over two coats of Essie Mermerize.

Wicked Glitter also has smaller and more spare glitter in a clear base, and the glitter has much more of a red purple to it. I put two coats over two coats of Essie Bermuda Shorts.

Clearly, these are no dupes of the OPIs, barely second cousins, but I think they're great glitter nail polishes nonetheless. Both were reasonably smooth with just one coat of top coat, Sapphire Shimmer more so than Wicked Glitter, which is another big plus. Sapphire shimmer was easy to remove, likely because it was layered over the Essie. I have Wicked Glitter on now, so I don't know how that will be to remove.
That's what I have for you this morning, Dear Reader. Until next time, love and nail polish to you!
